Micos Telcom Division - distribution boxes for telecommunications, fiber optic, and data networks

The TELCOM division provides harmony solutions responsively tuned according to customer requests. Its activities include development, design, production and sale of elements and complete solutions for telecommunication and data networks.

TELCOM’s main product portfolio contains distribution boxes for copper, fiber optic and data networks. The production also includes range of special data cabinets, ruggedized transport boxes, shielded boxes, shielded chambers, copper and fiber optic accessories for distribution boxes, outdoor multifunctional pillars, and testers.

Division’s own R&D Center allows TELCOM to customize standard products, or even create very new solutions exactly according to customer needs.

TELCOM’s products have found wide utilization in many European countries. Besides, the TELCOM division offers other products of several interesting international telecommunication trademarks which it represents on Czech and European markets. Through membership in industry associations – APVTS and FTTH Council, TELCOM actively supports information and communication technology development especially in the area of fiber optics.

The Micos company head office is located in the town of Prostejov. In 2007 the company built the new production hall and technological center in the industrial zone of Prostejov. Micos has business offices also in Brno and Prague. Totally, in all four divisions of Micos, there are about 250 employees.
