About the company

MICOS was established in May 1990 by a group of people whose only capital was enthusiasm and commitment. The original subject of enterprise – supplies of IT equipment and software services – was gradually extended by other activities for which there was demand on our country’s emerging market.

The company quickly expanded into the category of medium-sized businesses with divisional organizational structure and the application of precision economic management.

The following four independent divisions were finally established:

Telcom

Manufacture of distribution boxes and low-voltage electrical equipment
MICOS TELCOM creates and manufactures elements for state-of-the-art telecommunication networks. The development of high-speed data transfer and the Internet motivates the company's development specialists in their search for the most effective and top quality solutions, especially in the area of optical communication systems.

ITS

Telecommunication technology solutions
The ITS Section (Information Technologies and Services) was created in 2000 and employs information technology specialists and certified servicing technicians, providing them with top equipment. It is active all over the Czech Republic and aims to satisfy the clients’ requirements in a prompt and high-quality manner.

Danet

Cabling and electrical installation systems
The DANET Division was created as an independent organisational unit of MICOS, spol. s r.o. at the beginning of 1998, continuing a part of the activities covered by then by the TELCOM Division, which had been on the market since 1991. These activities include, above all, delivery and installation of electronic communication systems, aimed to be integrated in complex building management systems.
